Firearms
We meticulously detail every part of your firearm that can be coated, including screws and high-wear parts. The Teflon® improves wear and provides an extremely slick service for smoother actions and a faster release time on the firing pin. Teflon* also repels water and does not need lubrication.
Black Ice Coatings completely dis-assembles the firearm and coats every part individualy. This gives a complete finish inside and out. We DO NOT coat inside the bore or the breech (where the brass chambers).
All metal components get the coating applied. We can coat Chromoly steel, aluminum, Stainless steel, Titanium, Brass or whatever you can bring our way thet will hold the process heat.
CAMO UPGRADE APPLIES TO EXTERIOR METAL PARTS. STOCKS PREPPED DIP-COATING BY BLACK ICE, THIS CAN ADD AS MUCH AS 4 WEEKS TO THE PROCESS AND ADDITIONAL COSTS.
Industrial
We at Black Ice Coatings have also helped in improving wear-life of many other parts as well as firearms. Some of these services include Valves that are used in high alkaline-content water atmospheres, High friction parts to improve part-life and heat transfer. Also can be used as a mold release for foundry operations and aerospace.
We are also familiar with Powder coating and have extensive training in epoxy and urethane coatings as well.
Medical
Black Ice is familiar with the application of FDA approved Teflon® finishes. This can be applied to medical instruments and furnishings.
We also have patents pending with the US patent office, more to follow as it develops!!
